Branching markets in two continents is not something that is easily done by just any old company. It takes skill, years of experience and preparation, and the correct timing to make the entrance at just the right time. However, even when all of these forces align, the process still occasionally fails.
Thankfully, there are bold entrepreneurs like Reece Mennie who have dared to push the boundaries of what is possible and jump from one market to another. Reece has been working with investors for many years in the United Kingdom and Europe and growing his business throughout that entire time.
“Working in partnership with key property development partners for HJ Collection, I have established a leading reputation within the industry, having raised circa £80 Million for property developments over the past 6 years, fulfilling all returns to my network of High Net Worth and Sophisticated investors. Additionally, I have created my own Top 25 podcast series, Mennie Talks, where I interview proven and renowned business leaders to provide insight into their own journey to success, whilst offering guidance and advice for listeners and followers across the globe,” Reece recounts.
Having done an incredible amount of work in the UK and European investing and property development world, Reece decided to expand his reach across the Atlantic ocean. His goal for a very long time had been moving into the U.S. market and Reece has finally done just that.
“We have begun our work with American investors and have been speaking to many people here. We have brought our concept over here and have finally entered the market. We are one of very few UK companies that have been able to do this. We are setting up in New York City,” Reece explains.
Reece has always been interested in the world of business, which has helped him be so successful now. He grew up next to it, learning the lessons that would lead him down the path he is on now. Watching his father work in business pushed Reece to want to follow in his footsteps and do the same.
“Growing up, I was always looking up to my father who owned his own business, so I’d say an entrepreneurial flair and mindset was instilled in me from a young age. I always knew a conventional 9-5 career wasn’t going to be for me, and I wanted to be able to make a change and provide a service & solution to consumers. I’d now consider myself a serial investor and entrepreneur with an unrivaled expertise in the UK alternative property investment sector,” Reece recounts.
Taking what he learned from his childhood and then all the decades that followed, Reece is still hoping to apply even more of that knowledge to his future plans. His goal is, of course, to continue growing his footprint in the U.S. markets, but also has other amazing goals for the upcoming months.
“Our goals for 2021 will be to keep pushing on with our developments and bringing high specification, affordable living to the areas we develop in. We currently have a few developments highlighted to move onto in the pipeline for the first quarter of next year which is a very exciting prospect for us and will look to continue growing and taking advantage of a lot of opportunities upcoming. I’m sure it will be an exciting year for all businesses to bounce back and get back to their best,” Reece states.
